Résumé
The present work corroborates the presence of Lucilia bufonivora Moniez, 1876 in the Basque Country Autonomous Community. Therefore, it evidences the necessity and utility of molecular techniques, more objective and accurate, not only as a complement to traditional identification based on external taxonomic features, but also as a quality control of these diagnostics. Additionally, this study also contributes with new nucleotidic sequences which may be of interest for correct species identification
