Abstract

Case reports: We describe two case reports of bacterial endogenous endophthalmitis, with different clinical features, evolution and response to treatment. Discussion: Bacterial endogenous endophthalmitis is a rare pathology with poor visual outcome, and with risk of evolving into an orbital cellulitis or of infecting the second eye. For this reason, a high awareness of this disease is necessary in order to give an immediate treatment. However, treatments have to be personalised, according to the patients health condition, and to the location of the infectious focus.
