Abstract

This work collects the experience and main results of participation in the Global Matrix 4.0 project of the Basque Country, a project led by theBasque Government, and with the participation of the three Basque Universities: University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU), University of Deusto (Deusto) and Mondragón Uni-bertsitatea (MU).This specific project is part of the Mugiment project, a collaborative project that works to achieve an active Basque society and in which more than 100 organizations participate.Using the methodology proposed by Active Healthy Kids Global Alliance (AHKGA), and under the supervision of the Scottish and European AHKGA leader, Professor John Reilly (University of Strathclyde Glasgow), and the leader of the Spain team, Pro-fessor Susana Aznar (University of Castilla-La Mancha), we have assigned the levels corresponding to each of the indicators that are proposed by the AHKGA (general physical activity, participation in organized sports, active play, active transport, sedentary lifestyle, physical condition, family and peers, school, community and built environment and public policies), in addition to assessing an eleventh indicator related to sleep. One of the main conclusions, and that give rise to the slogan of the report is that "We need to know more" to continue advancing in the development of evidence-basedpolicies to promote physical activity and sport in Basque childhood and adolescence.
