Abstract

We report our experience over 20 eyes with the phaco-fracture technique in small incision in the cataract surgery. We evaluate the advantages of the small incision technique and its influence over the postoperative astigmatism without sutures removal. We analyse the phacofracture as an alternative technique in the cataract surgery, its practice independently of the nucleus hardness and we evaluate the intraoperative care that we think can give us better results.
