Résumé

The management of anticoagulation in patients who have suffered a hemorrhagic stroke represents a difficult clinical scenario, in which individualized evaluation of both the hemorrhagic and thrombotic risk is essential. We present a case of a patient, who have a mechanical heart valve and an ischemic stroke with hemorrhagic transformation, and the complications she had due to her clinical situation.
