Abstract

The subcutaneous route is the alternative election for patients with oral intolerance with terminal disease. Among the different methods used for the subcutaneous administration of drugs there are the systems of infusion by elastomeric pumps. The patients which take benefits of this device usually have oral intolerance problems, swallowing problems, obstructions, and have several drugs. They also generally have symptoms difficult to control. This make us to administrate different drugs diluted together. The use of different combinations of drugs, the mixes between them and the few studies that exist about the interaction of drugs mixtures in elastomeric devices, were the main reasons for us to develop this study.
