Laburpena

A study is made of the formation of periarticular calcifications in a series of 104 Lord model non-cemented total hip arthroplasties. · These ectopic ossifications occur more frequently in males than in females, in a proportion of 3:1. The authors did not find a direct relationship between the calcifications and the cause which led the patient to the operation or the previous operations undergone' by the patient.
