Abstract
This talks about the participation of professionals, doctors from a range of specialities and educators from Gipuzkoa in the II National Congress of Paediatrics held in San Sebastián in 1923. The Gipuzkoa College of Physicians was very much involved in its organisation, and members from all areas of Gipuzkoa society supported its implementation. It also allows us to fi nd out more about doctors and educators dedicated to child care, some aspect of their biographies and their contributions to the Congress.
