Résumé

Botroid odontogenic cysts are associated with an infrequent cystic lesion involving both maxillae that have a number of radiological and histopathological features in common with lateral periodontal and glandular odontogenic cysts. According to the 1992 WHO classification, both cysts are related to development. Some authors have rated them as the most aggressive and infrequent multicystic variants of lateral periodontal cysts originating from dental lamina.
