Abstract
Bone is made up of a type of tissue that obeys the laws of mechanics due to its great heterogeneity in structure, composition and anisotropic behaviour. For this reason, it is important to delve deeper into the field of bone tissue through the study of its mechanobiological properties, in order to later understand the mechanical laws that govern the behaviour of bone remodelling. That way it will be possible to understand the mechanisms of bone injury, as well as its consolidation or recovery process. For a better understanding of the subject, it is recommended to consult the first volume published on bone tissue entitled: Bone tissue: composition, structure and histological properties.
