Abstract

However, the effect of this exposition in children has not been studied so far. Children are exposed tothis noise during their growth and development phase, which makes them a vulnerable group. In thisstudy, we aim to measure and describe environmental noise exposure on 11 year old childrenbelonging to the Gipzukoa cohort in INMA project. We observed that even if environmental noiseexposure levels are close to the threshold at which negative effects on human health can be observed,it seems no to affect sleep quality measured by actigraph and questionaries filled by parents.
