Resumen

La lucha contra el tabaquismo viene incluyendo diversas estrategias para reducir el consumo, en tanto no se decida la prohibición plena de la venta y distribución de tabaco. Así, se ha intentado disuadir del consumo a través de la información sobre sus riesgos, la actuación sobre su precio y la presentación en paquetes genéricos que lo hacen menos atractivo. En esta reseña se comenta un artículo de Halliday (2016) que analiza la dimensión ética de la introducción de la obligatoriedad de adquirir una licencia para consumir tabaco que permita su adquisición.
