Resumen

Presentamos ideas e iniciativas desarrolladas en Maastricht (Países Bajos) en el campo de la asistencia a personas con Trastorno Mental Grave. En el ámbito de la evaluación mediante la �monitorización acumulativa de las necesidades de cuidados�. En el plano asistencial a través del modelo FACT de tratamiento asertivo. Destacamos la importancia de monitorizar el estado físico y planteamos algunas reflexiones sobre la aplicación de estas ideas a nuestro medio.
